In an interview with Times Live she says, “It took an entire village to get me here and I would like to thank all of you for being my village. I stand here today as your Miss SA with immense pride and joy to be representing such a beautiful nation — one of the first Venda women, but certainly not the last, to become Miss SA.”

She is ambitious, courageous and kind. With this opportunity she plans to mental health, focusing on disadvantaged areas. She says, “I plan to bring more awareness to mental health, especially in rural and disadvantaged areas, because I believe that we need to work on the mind for any change to come about in this country.”

She continues her drive for basic needs to aid in food insecurity with her focus being on children. It warms my heart to know that there is still such magic during these hard times. The pandemic continues, but life must too. This example of the greatness of our nation’s people shows the untapped potential of what we are all capable of. Use Miss SA 2020’s, Shudufhadzo Musida, story as inspiration.

Thank you for guiding us, Miss South Africa 2020. Congratulations from the nation and continue holding the beacon leading us into greatness.
