It is a bit of a crazy world at the moment, no question. But I intend to keep you all updated with latest news about COVID-19 and as much information about vaccine progress and our country’s responses to these developments as well as what we can do to continue to fight this pandemic.

The World Health Organization update on Schools reopening streamed live yesterday. Many children were not able to access remote learning due to lack of resources as is a huge situation in our country. The learning crisis that was present before COVID-19 has been worsened due to the global lockdowns and the South African clamp down on all services. Young South Africans are the ones that are at the greatest disadvantage. The education of the youth of this country is paramount to the future and progress of our country. The debate is heated and ongoing, the danger is real – but so is the risk.
